Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a holistic treatment plan.
We will focus on your optimal health.

Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and the joy that you once had in your life in abundance.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples and families who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection. Therapy sessions are held with both couples and families and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen and improve your relationships.
By working together as a team, we aim to provide a neutral safe space for of the LGBTQ community. By listening to your concerns and customizing a treatment plan to encompass the all the aspects of your life we can work on improving areas of concern.
We have a practice trained towards assisting LGBTQ youth, adults and their families. Our approach is supporting the coming-out process in order to help create a positive environment to thrive and maintain good physical and mental health.
In order to thrive personally and in the community, LGBTQ individuals need to feel socially, emotionally, and physically safe and supported. A positive school climate has been associated with decreased depression, suicidal feelings, substance use, and unexcused absences among LGBTQ students. LGBTQ adults also face a myriad of issues similar to youth including violence, homelessness, family rejection and lack of access to gender affirming healthcare.
At New Life Center NY, we wish to bridge those gaps and create a dialogue with clients, their families, their schools and in the community to improve the areas of concern. We are dedicated to break the barriers that are created by misinformation, hatred and intolerance of the LGBTQ population. Our aim is to eradicate the stigma associated with LGBTQ issues using effective evidence-based models. We are also part of a network of gender affirming practitioners.
Together, our Social Workers will work with you as a team, we will help create additional alliances already existing in our diverse community and help remove the obstacles that are holding you back from being who want to be - the VERY BEST YOU possible!
